Part 1 | IVF Journey Blood Test
This was recorded live on Instagram on our way to the Dr office to get our blood pregnancy test from our recent 2nd Round of IVF. š We wanted to document our journey this time around, somehow sharing makes it easier to handle. We will get results back this afternoon.So grateful for the prayers and love! š
Some background: for our 2nd son we had gone through 3 failed IUIs before the positive news!
Since he was born 4.5yrs ago we have done 5 IUIs and 1 IVF with no success so this is our last try and going to see if this IVF works for our family. Trying to grow our family is so hard, but there’s always hope and so grateful for the Lord because He is always there for us and through Him we have been able to try things we otherwise wouldn’t have had the courage or strength to do.

“Jesus wept.” John 11:35So we got the sad news that we are not pregnant again. š¢š«š
And we are crying too! We know the Lord loves us and is sad for us too. How do we know? Well you know I needed some wise words.
“Of course; why not? Jesus wept at the grave of Lazarus; he wept over Jerusalem’s portending afflictions; and he wept when he came to the American continent and knelt with his people, and especially when “he took their little children, one by one, and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them.” 3 Ne. 17:21 see also 3 Ne. 17:22 John 11:35 Luke 19:41. We are comforted by your prayers, love, fasting, treats, calls, texts, messages, meals, treats (said it twice cause you know us!), Temple trips, and support! We have the best family & friends EVER, even people we don’t know have prayed for us. š Thank you for teaching us how to be the Lord’s hands here on the Earth, how to love others like Christ, how to minister. We have felt the Lord’s love through E A C H - O N E of you and continue to. š Your ability to be compassionate and share your love with us is humbling, to say the least. We love you and appreciate you mourning with us. š I’m sorry we didn’t get to share good news.
Side note: There were 3 other mommas in the same Dr. Andrew’s office getting news today. They couldn’t tell me the news about them of course, however, I sure pray and hope they each got awesome news, because somehow knowing someone else got great news will make our news easier to bear. šš Not because I would think they are preferred or better or anything like that but because I wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone, ever. I wish all who desire children to the point of IUI or IVF to have as many as they possibly can! (Even though I may not be able to be around prego mommas for a little bit š... you know I’ll need some time.)
