FALL in love w/ Temple Service

What a great Conference weekend! I love being able to spend time with family and listen to the prophet, his counselors, the apostles and other leaders of The Church. They are amazing examples of love, service and dedication; all with the same purpose. It's great to feel the spirit testify of the truths which they so boldly and faithfully share with us.



As you already know for this month we get a new booklet on Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There were so many great quotes and great messages regarding the Temple (12 different headings with info to be exact) I just couldn't decide. Since there were 2 specific addresses (by Elder Claudio R. M. Costa & Elder Kevin R. Duncan) in General Conference who mentioned the importance of listening to our "living" prophet, I made sure to include a quote by President Thomas S. Monson from "Blessings of the Temple."

Quote: "The temple provides purpose for our lives. It brings peace to our souls."

Text on the card: "Fall in love with... Temple Service" - Since it's FALL, I used the super darling LetteringDelight's "Delight-Fall" collection: digital paper and digital graphic set.

I encourage you to order additional copies (item number 09339) so you can use it to teach your family, or give it to the sisters you Visit Teach in case they didn't get one and share it with friends who would like to learn more about these sacred buildings. Instructions:

1. Click on image & download it. (it's a jpg)


2. Print it 4x6 (you might need to adjust your printer settings because if printed at 100% it might be too big), in color on thick cardstock.


3. Recommended: take/upload the image (jpg file) to your local print shop and have them print it 4x6 on regular photo paper like you would regular pictures. Cosco, Walmart, Target... whatever you want!


4. Attach it to a copy of this new Temple Booklet, insert it into a 4x6 frame, or attach it to a pack of fall leaves. I know you're all more creative so just whatever you think of would be great or just mail it as-is. :)
