August VT Postcard

I finally have a contributor designer!!! She is a huge life saver. So, excited and I really appreciate Sister Telisa Van Leeuwen from Sugar Tot Designs for designing this month's Visiting Teaching Handout with quotes from this months Visiting Teaching Message. She is a great digi designer, is a great mom, wife and an amazing DIYer too! She sells some of her digi designs prints for Primary children, Young Women and for the family including custom name signs, alphabet/number prints and custom family trees. You will also find birthday party invitations, coordinating birthday party kits and custom Etsy shop kits. Custom prints for all ages are available upon request. I feel so blessed that she was so willing to share her talents with each of us, Visiting Teachers. She is a sister full of many talents, just like each of you, check out her DIY blog, to learn from her and then you can teach others some classes in Relief Society.

Her thoughts about designing this month's Visiting Teaching postcard:
"Every single word in this month's message truly touched my heart. I almost just copied the whole message on here but forced myself to pick out the phrases that summarized it the best. How grateful I am to be among "A Society of Holy Women" and know that we are vital in establishing the Kingdom of God here upon the earth."

Quotes she included on the postcard are:
"By accepting the gift of activity in Relief Society, we become part of what the Prophet Joseph described as a society 'separate from all the evils of the world—choice, virtuous, and holy.'" - Silvia H. Allred

“We must cherish one another, watch over one another, comfort one another and gain instruction, that we may all sit down in heaven together.” - Lucy Mack Smith

  2. The cards printed out much smaller than you said. They are not 1/4 of page like I like them. I don't know if I did something wrong or not.

  5. I need some ideas for visiting teaching cards. I print out the visiting teachers with phone numbers and sisters being taught with phone numbers and supervisor's name and number. Some of the sisters would like names addresses, phone numbers, and birthdays. This seems like alot of info for 4 x 6 cards.

Hope that is what you were looking for. Sorry for the delay in reply, but it's pretty busy around these parts for the Holidays and so finally I got a minute to write you back. Good luck! Love you!
