General Conference Week! General Conference Keyword Café with FREE Food Cards

We've had this conference tradition now for over 3 years and our kids just love it. Who doesn't love to eat as much food as you want? It's perfect...we usually cut everything up Sunday between sessions and then for the last session of General Conference we put these bowls of food out with the topics on them. They are so reverent it's pretty amazing! And they pay attention to the talks and the topics.
I've seen these done with Candy before and that's cool too, just whatever you think will keep your kids alert, attentive and quiet.
We chose to use fruits & veggies because it's a whole lot healthier.
As you can see in the pic above, I'm not using the new fancy ones I just designed, just my old ones. BUT I will be using the new ones this time around! Can't wait.

- Wooden or Metal Skewers (sometimes we even use our Fondue skewers)

Shopping List:

- Strawberries (cubed)
- Watermelon (cubed)
- Cantelope (cubed)

- Chicken (cubed) if you need some protein.
- Optional: Dipping for Veggies & Fruit.
Rules:
- Listen to each speaker.
- When you hear a keyword or topic said, you stab a fruit or veggie and eat it!
- When one bowl runs out of food, exchange it out for another bowl and then when they say a keyword that has already run out, it becomes the wild card and therefore one can take any fruit or veggie whenever that word is said.
- Interpretations: If they say "Son of God" that means Jesus Christ and therefore it is ok to take one. You can do the same for other keywords if your kids are old enough to know how to do that.
- Hint: Jesus Christ always runs out first! ;) And I pretty much love that!
Honestly, it's your game now and your new tradition, you can make it whatever you want!

Download:
Click on the images below to download the ones you want.Use all 6 files to make 12 cards or just print a couple. There are 2 on one file, so you print them 4x6 and then cut them in half to 2x3. Send them to your favorite picture printer for 1 hour printing and have them ready for #LDSconf this weekend!
Enjoy General Conference!
